Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026Bible Arcade is a set of Bible games. We built it to be as private as possible: accounts are optional, there are no ads, no tracking, and no data is sold to anyone.
Playing as a guest (no account)
- Your player name and avatar.
- Your scores, XP, level, badges, daily streak and game history.
As a guest, these are saved only in your browser or app storage on your own device. We never receive them. You can erase them any time with “Reset my stats” on the My Stats page, or by clearing the app's storage.
If you sign in with Google (optional)
Signing in is handled by Google through Firebase Authentication. Google tells us a unique account ID, your email address and your name; we use them only to sign you in. We do not see or store your Google password. On our servers (Google Firebase) we then keep:
- The username and avatar you choose. Your username is shown to other players on leaderboards and to your friends.
- Your game progress: XP, level, badges, best scores, streaks, accuracy by topic and recent game history.
- Your friends list and friend requests.
- Any quizzes you create, which only you can see and edit.
Friends can see your username, avatar, level, XP and whether you're online. Anyone can see the top players on the leaderboards.
Inactive accounts
Accounts are kept as long as they're used. If you don't sign in or play for one month, your account and everything stored with it are deleted automatically, and your username becomes available again.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time on the My Account page (“Delete my account”). This permanently deletes your profile, progress, friends list, leaderboard entries and quizzes, and removes your sign-in. It happens immediately and cannot be undone. If you can't sign in any more, email us (see Contact below) and we'll delete it for you.
What is sent to our server
- Multiplayer games (Online Duel and Tribes Party): the name you choose, your avatar or tribe, and your answers are sent to our server so the game can run. Other players in the same game can see your name and score. This information is kept in memory only while the game is running and is deleted when the game ends.
- Quizzes created by leaders: quizzes written in the “Create quizzes” page are stored on our server so they can be hosted (linked to your account when you're signed in).
- Technical logs: like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the service secure and running.
Names and safety
Player names are checked by a filter that blocks rude or offensive words, and names that pretend to be the Bible Arcade team are not allowed. There is no chat and no way to send messages to other players. Please don't use your full real name or any personal details as your player name.
Signed-in players can report another player's name. A report stores both usernames, the reason and an optional short note, and is only seen by the Bible Arcade team. Reports are deleted when either account is deleted.
Children
Bible Arcade is suitable for families and church groups, and everything can be played as a guest without sharing personal information. Signing in requires a Google account, which Google only offers to children with a parent's permission (Family Link). If you are a parent and believe your child created an account without your permission, contact us and we will delete it.
Third parties
Accounts and their data are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not use any analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
